We are thrilled to announce the well-deserved promotion of James Enright to Associate Principal! As our Oakland office lead and with over 14 years of structural engineering experience, James has demonstrated exceptional expertise in a broad range of project types, including residential, commercial, healthcare, education, tenant improvement, adaptive reuse, and seismic retrofit.

James has played key roles in several noteworthy projects while making a positive impact in the communities they serve. Some of these projects include:

  • Lydiksen Elementary School, Pleasanton, CA: James served as Project Manager for the modernization and seismic retrofit of a classroom building, creating a safe and conducive learning environment for students.
  • Meridian (Stevens Creek Apartments), Santa Clara, CA: As Project Manager, James contributed to the development of an affordable housing complex, providing comfortable living spaces for families in Santa Clara.
  • Kaiser Permanente Modesto Medical Center (MC) 6 Bay ED Expansion, Modesto, CA: James played a pivotal role in the expansion of the emergency department, enhancing healthcare facilities for the community.
  • 69 Green Street, San Francisco, CA: As Project Manager, James led the historic commercial office building’s renovation. His expertise in wood and steel framing preserved its charm while implementing modern upgrades like new restrooms, finishes, ceilings, and lighting.

Apart from his technical excellence, James is deeply committed to promoting Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) both personally and professionally. He is passionate about sustainability and is our SE2050 embodied carbon champion and actively collaborates with clients and design teams to create innovative, environmentally-friendly solutions.

James’s involvement in professional organizations, such as the Structural Engineering Association of Northern CA (SEAONC), SPUR, San Francisco Housing Action Coalition (SFHAC), and the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC), further demonstrates his dedication to our IMPACT value of continuous growth.

Chrissie pioneers the industry in creating a diverse general contracting firm tackling large housing projects around the Bay Area. Before founding Incorage, Chrissie was the president and part owner of CORE Builders. She grew the organization to be the 25th largest general contractor in Silicon Valley at approximately $100M in annual revenue. With a large focus on affordable housing, Chrissie stays true to her roots in contributing to a greater need. She is looking to shape the industry in how business is conducted and bring a positive impact to the greater community.
